Escape the Everyday with these activities

Escape the Everyday with Cam Grey

Try Dolphin Kayaking

Accommodating children from the age of 5, Dolphin Kayaking is the ideal activity for viewing Byron Bay from a different perspective. Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay offers 3-hour Dolphin Kayaking tours paddling in the famous Cape Byron Marine Park where dolphins, turtles and whales roam free.

Swim in a tea-tree lake

Drive to the end of Pacific Parade in Lennox Head, and you’ll find Lake Ainsworth, a tea-tree-stained lake that, thanks to the tea tree oil that has dripped into the water from the surrounding trees, is said to have healing powers. Don’t let the copper-coloured ripples put you off – there is something quite magical about swimming here.
