Mothers don’t get report cards but if they did, they’d probably be written by the toughest critics of all: their kids.
This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating mums the most honest (and often hilarious) way we know how by asking children to grade them.
The Okanui Mum Report Card
Kids who visit our Manly store are invited to fill out a special “Mum Report Card.” From questions like “What does Mum do best?” to “What makes Mum funny?”, the answers are always heartfelt, sometimes cheeky, and often surprisingly wise.
The responses become the heart of the campaign, a collection of genuine moments that capture the little things kids notice about their mums every day.
You might see answers like:
- “She gives the best hugs.”
- “She always lets me have one more ice cream.”
- “She’s the boss… but a nice boss.”
It’s these small, honest reflections that make Mother’s Day feel personal.
Mother’s Day Colouring In Competition
Alongside the report cards, we’re also running a Mother’s Day colouring in competition designed to get the whole family involved.
To celebrate, kids can colour in our Mother's Day Themed art graphic for the chance to win a $500 Okanui gift card.

- Download the colouring in PDF.
- Get your child to complete both sheets.
- Fill in your details in the entry form.
- Email a photo of the completed masterpiece to marketing@okanui.com.
You can also drop by our Manly store and enter the competition in person.
All entries must be submitted through the form to be eligible. The winner will be selected on 1 May.
