Meet the Team: Noosa Heads

A surfers paradise, known for it's expansive beaches and slow beach days; Welcome to Noosa Heads.

We spoke with Noosa Store Sales Assistants, Jason & Maria along with our Regional Retail Manager, Jo, as they take us through the perks of living on the Sunshine Coast.

What's your favourite thing about working at Okanui Noosa?

Maria: Since my first day working here, I have truly felt like a part of the Okanui Family! Every team member as been so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.
Jason: As an extension of the entire Okanui business, the teams within makes each day a pleasure to be a part of Okanui. I've spoken to almost everyone within Okanui and it's hands down the best company I've ever been involved with. I love it!

Staff picks this season - what products are you loving?

Jo: Daydream Tee, Beach Club Tee and the Fields Fleece Shorts.
Jason: Loving the Big Iron Cord in Navy and the Boardrider Tee Forrest.
Maria: At the moment, I'm loving the Wide Leg Beach Pants paired with the Beach Club Tee in Lemon Drop. It's elegant and an Okanui classic look!

Favourite thing about living in Noosa?

Maria: The work/life balance is awesome here, especially when you are so privileged to work across from the beach! A walk or a swim after work is always refreshing.
Jo: All the beaches are beautiful for a swim and the Noosa River Bank for sunset drinks.

Go-to place for an after-work drink?

Jason: Sea-Bourne distillery in Noosaville - the absolute best Gin.
Maria: I don't drink much, but when friends are around there's no doubt we head up to Glass House Brewery, Forest Glen for pizza and beers. It's the best!
Jo: Seaborne Gin distillery is our new favourite for sure!

#1 thing to see/do whilst visiting Noosa?

Jo: Hasting Street right through to the National park is a walk everyone must do!
Jason: It's the beach! Whether you like Noosa Main beach and a walk in the National park, or hitting the Eastern beaches, it's all spectacular. But for me, it's swimming in between Nationals and Main Beach, you may even get to see a turtle!!
